Kane Innovations was one of 113 exhibitors who participated in the 2016 Governor's Hurricane Conference (GHC), May 8 through May 13, held at the Rosen Shingle Creek event facility in Orlando, Florida.   Over 1,200 people attended this popular annual show.

Kane's sales team promoted the Hurricane and Storm Barrier product, a type of screen specifically designed to be used on schools, police stations, government facilities, colleges and more, to prevent flying debris from breaking window panes during tropical storms and gale-force winds.  While exhibiting, Kane Innovations' company leaders and sales personnel took a moment to experience the "Virtual Disaster Encounter" to show how they would react in a hurricane.

Each year, the GHC invites all levels of government, private sector, healthcare, voluntary organizations and related professions to meet and exchange ideas.  The GHC also offers many hours of continuing education for at least eight disciplines.
