Pierhouse at Brooklyn Bridge Park to Feature Over 2,400 Lineal Feet of Custom Stainless Steel Mesh Railing
ERIE, Pennsylvania – October 19, 2015 – Kane Innovations was recently awarded a contract for the highly-anticipated Pierhouse at Brooklyn Bridge Park, a 550,000 square foot luxury hotel and residential complex located in New York City’s historic Brooklyn Heights neighborhood. According to Hudson Meridian Construction Group, the project is expected to receive Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design (LEED) Silver certification and include 193 hotel guestrooms, 123 condominiums, multiple restaurants, a health spa, meeting rooms and a banquet facility.
Kane’s custom Sterling Dula brand railing will echo the look of the existing barriers surrounding the Brooklyn Bridge Park area to maintain aesthetic continuity. The railing’s pickle-passivated stainless steel posts and rails will surround the same type of stainless mesh infill material that currently exists on nearby walkways.
The railing is slated for a winter delivery and will be installed on all terraces and balconies on the environmentally-conscious property, designed by Rogers Marvel Architects in New York City.
