Kane’s Invisi-Shield Security Screens Donated to Kane Area School District
KANE, Pennsylvania – January 4, 2016 – Erie-based architectural products manufacturer, Kane Innovations, Inc. has donated over 110 security screens to the Kane Area School District’s (KASD) shared elementary and middle school facility. Installation of Invisi-Shield, Kane’s new, low-profile screen, is currently underway at the district, located in the heart of Kane, Pennsylvania.
Aside from being exceptionally secure, Invisi-Shield has aesthetics in its corner with a clean look and a sleek, narrow sightline. For the KASD application, the interior-mounted frames were powder coated red to match the entrance doors, while the black, wire cloth infill allows for a clear view to the outside. The security screens serve as an intruder deterrent while safeguarding against forcible entry attacks via school entrance doors, sidelights and window openings.
The staff at KASD have expressed their satisfaction with Kane’s performance thus far with the new security upgrade.
“I’ve already heard many positive comments on the security screens that Kane Innovations has recently installed,” said John Rook, Facilities Director at Kane Area School District. “They look great, and the security provided is of great comfort to all occupants.”
Kane’s Invisi-Shield security screens are expected to be completely installed on the school building by the early spring.
