Kane Innovations Completes Local Installation at Five-Story Residential Tower
LECOM Senior Living Center Now Features Custom Sterling Dula Railing
ERIE, Pennsylvania – Kane Innovations has recently completed a railing installation at the new Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine (LECOM) Senior Living Center. The LECOM Senior Living Center, scheduled to open to the public in July of this year, is located just minutes from Kane Innovations’ headquarters in Erie.
Earlier this month, multiple, three-line, custom railing panels were installed by Kane’s local installation crew. Each aluminum railing panel contains an ornate waterjet-cut infill design to add a touch of elegance to the main lobby area.
The 151,000 square foot LECOM Senior Living Center will house 144 private rooms and offer a “home-like” atmosphere to elderly patients in need of a higher level of care. Other amenities include: a dedicated rehabilitation area for physical, occupational and speech therapies; a full-service pharmacy, salon and restaurant; geriatric outpatient services, and an indoor corridor which will connect the facility to Millcreek Community Hospital.
Planning, development and construction of the facility was left to ERDMAN of Madison, Wisconsin, a national leader in healthcare consulting, facility development and design.
LECOM has invested over $42 million in their senior living center, calling it the “next generation of senior care.”
