Our Contoured Detention Benches feature rounded edges for comfort – and to prevent inmates from using sharp corners as tools to remove cuffs or shackles. The under side of each bench is sprayed with sound-deadening insulation to keep volume to a minimum when the benches are forcibly struck by arms and legs. Each detention bench from Kane Detention is fabricated from 12 steel or stainless steel. Intermediate supports and fully welded end plates provide a strong and smooth finish.
