Taino Towers, a historic, mixed-use Section 8 housing complex, is comprised of four, 35-story residential towers that were constructed with federal funding provided by the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) in 1979. As of this writing, the buildings are undergoing upwards of $60 million worth of renovations.

So far, Kane Innovations has completed work on tower two, with towers three and four to follow shortly thereafter.

Kane Innovations was able to impressively demonstrate their unconventional “one-stop-shop” capabilities by retrofitting a comprehensive balcony package which included 4,376 lft of custom, 2-line aluminum mesh railing along with 1,620 Fixed Steel Narrowline Security Screens.

The project is ongoing and is slated for completion in 2023.
