Erie, Pennsylvania – October 18, 2021 – Kane Innovations proudly supported the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP) during their annual Out of the Darkness Community Walk on Saturday, October 9 in Jamestown, NY. The event was hosted by the Suicide Prevention Alliance of Chautauqua County in conjunction with the Western New York Chapter of the AFSP. Team Kane contributed $1,225 of the over $12,000 in donations raised for this important cause. Fourteen teams and 94 individuals were in attendance including several Kane Innovations employees.
The AFSP describes the Out of the Darkness experience as a journey of remembrance, hope, and support; an opportunity to acknowledge the ways in which suicide and mental illness have affected our lives and the lives of those we love and care about.
