Project Manager Daniel Haab Successfully Completes Licensing Examination on Kane’s Behalf
ERIE, Pennsylvania – September 6, 2016 – Kane Innovations has recently received a Class A Contractor License from the Commonwealth of Virginia Department of Professional and Occupational Regulation (DPOR) to perform contracted work in the Virginia area for all product brands. Kane selected Daniel Haab, Project Manager, as their DPOR Qualified Individual (QI). As a QI, Mr. Haab was responsible for completing the General Administrative and Business Knowledge, Virginia Rules and Regulations Governing Contractors and Advanced Business Knowledge portions of the examination, along with possessing the requisite work experience.
Any company who offers a construction-related service within the state of Virginia is required to have a DPOR license. The class of license determines what, if any, monetary restrictions are placed on the size of projects or contracts a company may perform. Class B and C licenses each require projects to fall within designated amounts in order to utilize the license properly. There are no monetary restrictions for Class A licenses.
Kane Innovations’ DPOR Class A Contractor License is currently active and scheduled to renew in two years, at the end of August, 2018.
