Over 15 of the top detention equipment manufacturers – including Kane Innovations – appeared at Pauly Jail Building Company’s exclusive Criminal Justice and Detention Facility Seminar on Wednesday, July 26 at the Indianapolis Marriott North in Indiana.
The day kicked off with breakfast, followed by a short introduction by Keynote Speaker Greg Offner. Speaking events took place throughout the afternoon, concluding with the outdoor manufacturer exhibition.
Presentation topics included modular steel cells, mental health and its effect on detention facilities, security electronics for corrections, and much more.

Lenaway noted that Kane’s woven rod barrier for mezzanines was a key product of interest at the event.
“Architects and jail personnel at the seminar showed great interest in Kane’s Vantage Wall for mezzanines due to the added safety that our woven rod barriers provide,” said Lenaway. “Many of the attendees mentioned the problem of inmates falling or jumping over the standard railing, and were pleased to learn about an effective and affordable solution.”
