Austin’s Gables Republic Square and The Lincoln Common in Chicago will Feature Architectural Railing by Sterling Dula
Last week, architectural railing manufacturer, Kane Innovations, secured work on two large projects in major metropolitan areas.
The first, dubbed The Lincoln Common in Chicago, Illinois (pictured left), is a luxury apartment complex with a total of 538 units and 60 low-rise condominium residences. The property also includes approximately 100,000 square feet of retail space.
Kane Innovations will be providing over 4,300 linear feet of Chesterfield 2-line aluminum and glass railing for the balconies, 92 linear feet of aluminum and glass windscreen for the 20th floor, and 391 linear feet of Classic, 2-line aluminum picket railing which will be mounted to the terrace parapet wall.
The second property, Gables Republic Square (pictured bottom right), is a mixed-use, urban residential tower in Austin, Texas, with street-level retail and a boutique ZaZa Hotel. Levels eight through twelve will feature a mix of opulent hotel rooms, fine dining, a cocktail lounge, and ballrooms.
At present, Kane Innovations will be providing over 6,000 linear feet of Classic picket railing on over 300 balconies. The railing will also be installed on a 7th-floor pool deck and an upper roof area.
